          • Η παρέα δίπλα μας ξεκινά με στρείδια και χαβιάρι και δεν μπορώ να σκεφτώ πολλά μέρη καλύτερα από ένα high end ψαράδικο στο Κολωνάκι, για να ξεκινήσεις με στρείδια και χαβιάρι το δείπνο σου, εμείς όμως σκεφτόμαστε να το πάμε πιο παραδοσιακά, με ταραμά και λαγάνα. "Αρχικά είχαμε στο μυαλό μας ένα πιο απλό concept ψαροφαγίας", προσθέτει "σιγά – σιγά όμως, μέσω και των δοκιμών που κάναμε, η ιδέα εξελίχθηκε και καταλήξαμε στο τελικό μενού". Δεν είναι όμως πολλά εκείνα που συγκινούν, τουλάχιστον για όσα φέρνουν στο πιάτο και το ποτήρι. Ένα trend που δύσκολα θα έφευγε από το ραντάρ, κάτι που όμως συνέβη – τουλάχιστον για αρκετά από τα bar restaurants που υπηρετούν τη γευστική φιλοσοφία της χώρας της κεντρικής Αμερικής. 'Όχι πολύ καιρό πριν -σίγουρα όμως προγενέστερα του ρεύματος της γαστρο/νεο-ταβέρνας, του κύματος της spritzerίας και της ευρείας εξάπλωσης του wine bar- τα μεξικάνικα εστιατόρια έμοιαζαν σαν μία απόλυτη τάση στα εστιατορικά δρώμενα της πόλης. Το φαγητό όμως είναι ένας μόνο από τους λόγους που έχει κάποιος να έρθει εδώ.

          Αυτή όμως έχει ιστορία στον τομέα, καθώς είναι αδερφάκι της «Σχάρας» της Βουλιαγμένης. Σε σημείο κέντρο-απόκεντρο του Νέου Ψυχικού, προτείνει έναν κατάλογο με τονισμένο θαλασσινό πρόσημο, κάνοντας όμως χώρο και για όσους αγαπούν το κρέας, συχνά με έθνικ προσανατολισμό. Την ίδια στιγμή δημιουργούνται καινούργια μαγαζιά που ανανεώνουν το σκηνικό της περιοχής, ευτυχώς όμως με έναν τρόπο που, στους αντίποδες του Ψυρρή και του Γκαζιού, δεν χαλάει τη χαλαρωτική ατμόσφαιρα της γειτονιάς. Μικρούλι, κόκκινο, χαριτωμένο, κλασικό ως προς τις γεύσεις του, που έχουν κινέζικη ραχοκοκαλιά, λοξοδρομούν όμως και προς το Βιετνάμ και την Ιαπωνία,… Η μπάρα-πραγματική παγόδα που ακολουθεί το μαγαζί από την πρώτη εποχή του, παραμένει ασφαλώς -και ευτυχώς- στη θέση της, βαμμένη όμως πλέον σε ζωηρό πετρόλ χρώμα που προσφέρει ζεστασιά στο χώρο. Δείπνο γύρω από την ατμοσφαιρικά φωτισμένη πισίνα και πανοραμική θέα στην Καλντέρα προσφέρει το εστιατόριο του ξενοδοχείου "Canaves Oia Suites".

          Θα βρείτε κυρίως κρέας, χωρίς όμως να λείπει το ψάρι. Γενικώς όμως, βρίσκεις οκτώ επιλογές που είναι πραγματικά όλες μια και μια. Oταν μου πρωτοείπε το όνομα του καινούργιου του εστιατορίου ο Γιάννης Λουκάκος, νόμιζα ότι το βάφτισε σκόρδο –πολύ λογικό όνομα για ιταλικό ρεστοράν–, το «Alio» όμως γράφεται διαφορετικά («aglio» είναι το σκόρδο) και σημαίνει μια άλλη κατεύθυνση, μια διαφορετική προσέγγιση, σε ένα άλλο μέρος. Δείπνο γύρω από την ατμοσφαιρικά φωτισμένη πισίνα και πανοραμική θέα στην Καλντέρα στη ρομαντική αυλή του "Canaves Oia Suites", που σχεδόν κρέμεται στα ηφαιστειογενή βράχια της Οίας. Μπορεί το ψάρι να είναι η ειδικότητά του, ο Όμιλος Καστελόριζο όμως πλέον έχει στο ενεργητικό του κι ένα χώρο καθημερινής κρεατοφαγίας.

          Pop gourmet ή όταν το street food εμπνέει τους σεφ

          Η μουσική όμως δεν θα οδηγείται σε οριεντάλ ξεχαρβάλωμα, ούτε θα κινείται σε hip-hop και r&b ρυθμούς, σκεφτείτε τη μάλλον σαν mood lounge music, όπως το soundtrack του φιλμ «2046» λ.χ. Ο κυριότερος όμως λόγος για τους πολλούς φανατικούς θαμώνες του είναι η κουζίνα. Πάνω απ' όλα, όμως, τα πιάτα είναι φτιαγμένα με μπόλικο μεράκι, επιλέγοντας καθημερινά ό,τι πιο φρέσκο παίζει στην αγορά. Μετρά μόλις λίγους μήνες παρουσίας στο κοσμοπολίτικο Χαλάνδρι, όμως γρήγορα, στόμα με στόμα, ο Νικόλας άρχισε να γίνεται γνωστός για τους μερακλίδικους μεζέδες του. Για να ολοκληρώσεις όμως τη μοναδική αυτή εμπειρία, επιβάλλεται να περάσεις και μια βόλτα από το μπαρ του. Εκτός από ενδιαφέροντα κρασιά, όμως, θα βρεις και μια εξίσου ενδιαφέρουσα λίστα με κοκτέιλ που προσαρμόζεται ανάλογα με την εποχή.

          Όταν ο ήλιος πέφτει, η ιταλική συνήθεια του aperitivo ξυπνά για τα καλά, στην οδό Αγίου Αλεξάνδρου 46.

          Tο Roof Top με ασυναγώνιστη πανοραμική θέα, είναι ένας αυτόφωτος προορισμός και ιδανικό σημείο για όποιον επιθυμεί να αποδράσει σε μια open-air όαση, περικυκλωμένη από το πράσινο και την αίσθηση ότι αγγίζεις τον καταγάλανο αθηναϊκό ουρανό. Δεν έκανα τίποτα από αυτά, γνώρισα όμως τον μπάρμπαν, τον Θάνο, που μας έφτιαξε ένα σωρό κοκτέιλ. Εντάξει αυτά κυρίως μπορείς να τα συνδυάσεις με τα άλλα πιάτα τους, όμως το σίγουρο είναι πως ό,τι ψάχνεις εδώ θα το βρεις. Μπορεί τα μπιφτέκια του να είναι από τα καλύτερα στην Αθήνα, επειδή όμως είναι άδικο για τα υπόλοιπα του μενού, κάπου εδώ πρέπει να αποκατασταθεί η τάξη και να ειπωθούν πραγματάκια και για την μπριζόλα του. Είναι κάπως πιο mainstream από τα γούστα μου, όμως ο χώρος του έχει φτιαχτεί έτσι ώστε να σε κερδίζει. Εντάξει, μερικά τα ξέρεις ήδη, όμως είναι πολλά ακόμη που πρέπει να μάθεις.

          H Ακρόπολη σε απόσταση αναπνοής, με την πανοραμική θέα της πόλης που εκτείνεται μέχρι τον Λυκαβηττό. Ψαγμένοι μεζέδες, λιμπιστικά burger και λαχταριστές vegan επιλογές σε περιμένουν σε τέσσερα εστιατόρια που θα σε κάνουν να ξεχάσεις την αυγουστιάτικη μελαγχολία χάρη στις προσιτές τιμές τους. Στον 7ο όροφο του Ξενοδοχείου King George, το βραβευμένο με αστέρι Michelin, εστιατόριο Tudor Hall έχει διαχρονική κομψότητα και χαρίζει πανοραμική θέα στη γιορτινή Αθήνα.

          • Οι "κλασικοί" πιθανώς να καταλήξετε σε μεταμεσονύχτιους δημιουργικούς διαλόγους με τη "Margarita", την "Paloma" ή ένα "Zombie", μπορείτε όμως να αφεθείτε στα χέρια των ειδικών για εορταστικές προτάσεις έξω από τα δεδομένα.

          Τα καλοφτιαγμένα reginette με μπρόκολο και πανσέτα είναι από τις προτάσεις που αντιπροσωπεύουν πλήρως τη φιλοσοφία της κουζίνας εδώ και δεν προκαλεί καμία απολύτως εντύπωση γιατί έχουν εξελιχθεί σε best seller – το αυτό ισχύει και για τα φινετσάτα σπαγγέτι vongole e bottarga, που όμως θα μπορούσαν να έχουν μία ζωντάνια παραπάνω. Πέρα από τους amici της διακριτικής πολυτέλειας και της προσεκτικά διαμοιρασμένης κομψότητας όμως, το εστιατόριο ανοίγει σοβαρό διάλογο με τους αληθινούς μύστες των εκλεπτυσμένων γευστικών ανησυχιών και των αυθεντικών γαστρονομικών εμπνεύσεων made in Italy. Θα ρουφήξετε όμως –σαν άλλος Καπαμαρού– και λιμπιστικά noodles, θα απολαύσετε τη συνδυαστική γκάμα των combos και σίγουρα θα τιμήσετε τα εκλεκτά poke bowls. Δεν είναι όμως το μόνο που αξίζει να δοκιμάσει κανείς, αφού, μεταξύ άλλων, εδώ έχει τη δυνατότητα να γευτεί διαφορετικές αλλά πάντα νόστιμες προτάσεις σε tacos, quesadillas, burritos και fajitas, καθώς και πιάτα με χοιρινό, αργεντίνικο Black Angus, αλλά και burgers επίσης με Black Angus. Προικισμένο με έναν υπέροχο κήπο, που αγκαλιάζει την αίσθηση χασιέντας την οποία αποπνέει ο χώρος, το μεξικάνικο εστιατόριο των βορείων προαστίων γνωρίζει τη διαδρομή για αξέχαστες εμπειρίες και απολαυστικές στιγμές.

          Μαρίνα Αλίμου: Μετά το τέλος της θερινής περιόδου ξεκινά η μεγάλη ανάπλαση

          Δυνατά όμως παίζουν ωμά και καπνιστά με τους ντόπιους γαύρους μαρινάτους και λακέρδες να κονταροχτυπιούνται με τα διεθνούς καριέρας σεβίτσε και ταρτάρ σε τσιπουροποσίες ολκής. Μπερδεύεται όμως με εκείνη της φρεσκοψημένης φοκάτσιας, του προζυμένιου ψωμιού και των ταράλι, που είναι άλλωστε και από τα πρώτα πράγματα που καταφθάνουν στο τραπέζι. Για παράδειγμα, πέρα από την πίτσα και την pasta, έχει δοθεί πολύ μεγάλη προσοχή στις επιλογές του κρέατος (κάτι που εύκολα αντιλαμβάνεται κανείς δοκιμάζοντας τα μάγουλα μπρεζέ σε fregula ή, ακόμη περισσότερο, με την bistecca alla fiorentina – με κρέας από τη φυλή Chianina). Απ’ τα δύο παγωτά, το υποδειγματικό fior di latte με ξύσμα lime είναι ιδανικό για ανάλαφρο τελείωμα μετά το ψάρι σας, ενώ το παγωτό φιστίκι, με κρέμα φιστίκι, καραμελωμένα φιστίκια και γλυκό βύσσινο το προτείνουν για δύο άτομα, είναι όμως τόσο νόστιμο που δεν είναι απίθανο να τσακωθείτε αν το βάλετε στη μέση.

          Το "Te villagrigio46.gr Kila", μάλιστα, δεν διστάζει να επεκτείνει τους γευστικούς του ορίζοντες και λίγο πιο μακριά από τη γαστρονομική κουλτούρα του Μεξικού, προτείνοντας πληθωρικές επιλογές σαν το Angus Cheeseburger με διπλό cheddar και BBQ sauce ή το Angus Bacon Burger με καραμελωμένο κρεμμύδι που λιώνει στο στόμα. Σερβίρει ιταλικό φαγητό σε στιλ τρατορίας, δίνοντας έμφαση στην πίτσα και τα ζυμαρικά, προτείνοντας γεύσεις κλασικές στην πλειονότητά τους –υπάρχουν όμως και κάποια πιο σύγχρονα στοιχεία. Θα είναι όμως αρκετά πιο fun ο χώρος του και θα δοθεί μεγάλη έμφαση στο κομμάτι του ποτού, με ηχηρή υπογραφή στο μπαρ.

          Το Flow σε υποδέχεται σ’ ένα χαλαρωτικό σκηνικό με ρομαντική αύρα, στην κορυφή ενός λόφου με πανοραμική θέα στον ζακυνθινό κάμπο. Ανεμώνες στον «Κόλλια» Οι ανεμώνες της θάλασσας μοιάζουν με φαντεζί λουλούδια, στην πραγματικότητα όμως δεν είναι φυτά, αλλά ανθόζωα. Είναι κυριολεκτικά μελωμένο, γλυκοφάγωτο και μερακλίδικο, χωρίς να χάνει όμως το τσαγανό του. Στον αντίποδα του στημένου, η ατμόσφαιρα είναι πολύ χαλαρή και κόσμος ετερόκλητος όλων των ηλικιών, από ζευγάρια σε τετ α τετ και οικογένειες μέχρι παρέες επωνύμων, εναλλάσσεται στα τραπέζια που γεμίζουν και αδειάζουν συχνά κατά τη διάρκεια της βραδιάς. Ένας χώρος όμως που αποπνέει κομψότητα, άνεση και γεύσεις με άποψη βοηθά σίγουρα ώστε να κατευθυνθείς προς τη σωστή πλευρά της αναζήτησής σου.

          Πέρα όμως από τη δεξιοτεχνία του στις ιταλικές σπεσιαλιτέ, το "Willy’s" φημίζεται και για το ζουμερό μπιφτέκι του, με το burger να είναι ένα από τα all-time φαβορί του μενού του. Η μεγάλη ποικιλία από πίτσες και πιάτα ζυμαρικών βρίσκεται στα τοπ των επιλογών μας, όμως ξεχωρίζουν το μοσχαρίσιο T-bone"Φιορεντίνα" με μανιτάρια και κρέμα γάλακτος με παρμεζάνα και το κριθαρότο "Nostro Orzo" με μασκαρπόνε. Δώστε προσοχή στα πιάτα ημέρας που εμπνέονται από τα προϊόντα της εποχής, όπως το αχνιστό σουφλέ με σύκα και κατσικίσιο τυρί ή το γεμιστό με κρέας ραβιόλι del Plin, όμως έχετε το νου σας στο μενού του μαυροπίνακα, που διαρκώς μας εκπλήσσει με τις προτάσεις του. Όσο για τον αστακό, απ’ τον οποίο παίρνει το όνομά του στο μαγαζί, ο σεφ μας αποκάλυψε μεν ότι έχει στο μυαλό του πολλά και διαφορετικά σενάρια, "από φρέσκο στον ξυλόφουρνο και στη σχάρα, μέχρι σούπα, ταρτάρ και βεβαίως τη δική μου signature εκδοχή της αστακομακαρονάδας", τον κράτησε όμως κρυφό χαρτί για την επόμενη επίσκεψή μας.
